Johnathan Rush

Education, Outreach, and Training Coordinator



Johnathan manages the efforts to make the CyberGIS Center a global leading entity for CyberGIS education and learning. He works primarily in coordinating curriculum development, developing training materials, and engaging in outreach to the campus community and beyond. Johnathan also leads the Technology Evaluation Group that provides design and functionality feedback to the development team, and the CyberGIS Commons computer lab.

Johnathan is currently finishing up his PhD in geography at Ohio State, where his dissertation topic focuses on mapping oral histories in an online GIS. His research experience includes geovisualization, population modeling, and space-time analysis.
